Did they change AI of some monster groups?

In UW, I used the Mo/Rt VwK solo build to get to the smites, but I can't seem to kill them... As soon as they reach 20% HP, they simply run off and regen... (Spam rof etc) I made sure I only used VwK (So only life stealing, no dmg), and yet I can't seem to kill them... (Aatxes work fine still)

I also tried re-aggroing/attacking them/wanding/etc, but I can't seem to get them to attack me again as soon as they reach 20% HP.

Obviously I'm still doing some runs, seeing how I get a nice ammount of globs from the Aatxes, but in 6 runs so far, I couldn't kill a single Smite Crawler...

Any ideas?

I also noticed this while farming staking nephilia outside sunspear great hall. Seems like they are trying to make well known farms harder.

Harder?

I've been trying to farm ALL over Tyria/Elona, and alot of old farms simply don't work anymore :'( Monsters refuse to attack at around 20% dmg, and simply stay back and regen to full hp, nothing I can do about it :s

hasn't there always been Scatter tho? especially in HM?

they have always ran off to heal(in hm) simply wand them they come back or move a few steps closer to them they come back

Yeah... I mean, AI was changed like 8 months ago. Nothing new reccently, and as songbringer said farming is still quite possible if you hold aggro properly.
